Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2016

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2016 RSC Quilt-A-Long. We thoroughly enjoyed our “big reveal” party, held April 21. We had a beautiful display of 16 quilts, each one unique and full of colour! We served refreshments and homemade chocolate chip and ginger cookies, while welcoming our RSC participants and special guests from the Days For Girls organization.

The $5.00 penalty collected throughout the year amounted to a total of $625, which was donated to Days for Girls. To learn more about this organization, please visit www.info@daysforgirls.org.

Our door prize winners were Karen Osatchuk for the completed quilt top (flimsy) and Del Caskey for the completed quilt.

Congratulations to all our participants! Thank you for taking part in this Rainbow Scrap Challenge Quilt-A-Long! Plans are underway for our next Quilt-A-Long.
